In a partnership to help children cope with the loss of loved ones, national benefits providers Reliance Matrix and TenCode Benefits are providing copies of best-selling author Avril McDonald's children's book, The Grand Wolf, as part of employee benefits programs nationwide.

Employees enrolled in bereavement benefits administered by Reliance Matrix and TenCode Benefits who experience a loss will begin receiving the books this spring as part of their employee benefits programs.

The books are part of the popular Feel Brave series of books by award-winning author Avril McDonald, whose UK Edition of The Wolf is Not Sleeping includes a forward from Prince William. In The Grand Wolf, a young wolf named Wolfgang and his friends experience the sadness of losing someone they love. Through gentle storytelling, the characters learn that while loss can be difficult, the memories, love and lessons shared with those we care about remain with us. The story aims to help children better understand change, grief and the importance of remembering the people who have shaped their lives.
